This Fall will feature some of the most creative and innovative nail trends for the year, from new shapes to intricate art. See our 5 favourite trends below.
1. Lipstick Shape
Famous South Korean nail artist Park Eunkyung of Unistella has invented a new nail shape known as ‘Lipstick‘. The unique shape is filed at a non traditional angle, which resembles a fresh lipstick- duh! It’s not for everyone, but we are embracing the new form- it works with everything!
2. Skin Match
One of our favourite nail trends for Fall is matching your nail colour to your foundation. We love how nail designer JINsoon has executed this look for Alexander Wang’s AW19 runway. The trend naturally gives the illusion of a slender/longer finger,.. that’s extra points from us!
You can shop JINsoon’s nail polish collection for Alexander Wang here.
3. Illustrative Art
The Illustrative/drawing art style is nothing new to nail art, however this Fall it has evolved into an intricate style of drawing, from dainty portraits to abstract faces. The style is essentially painted on nudes or minimal colour hues to allow the centre piece to stand out. See our favourite styles below.
4. Accent Design
If you follow big nail artist accounts on instagram, you will have noticed accent nails everywhere. This style will be huge for this coming Fall, especially with neon accents coming to the forefront. The catwalks for Fall/Winter19 were cladded with neon hues and some form will be here to stay for Spring 2020.
5. Textbook Doodle
Straight from void textbook page corners to your nail manicure, the popularity of this cute Doodle art trend is breaking out. Also a super way of adding personality to your nails.
